EdD
I'm working on an image and somehow seemed to have changed a setting to do with layer selection. Normally to select a layer I click on it and the layer highlights. Now every time I select a layer a little menu pops up that requires me to select or cancel (screen grab attached). This isn't the end of the world but I've got a number of images to process and this extra step is annoying. Can anyone help me get rid of this? To try to fix the problem I've tried Help, Preferences and Assistant. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks, Ed
EdD
Just to update: I got rid of this by closing the file and starting over. Luckily this was simple (this time). Sure would like to know what I triggered in case I do it again.
R C-R
From the "Select Layer" popup window it looks like you were in the process of recording a macro. Had you clicked the square white Stop icon on the Macro Studio panel, things would have gone back to normal. EdD
Thanks R C-R. I think that's what happened. I got distracted and must have moused over and clicked to start the recording - it wasn't intentional.
