tadturski Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Hi. Call me old-fashioned or lazy but I still prefer PC to edit my photos. As an amateur photographer I'm extremely tempted to switch from overpriced and underused Photoshop to Affinity Photo. My only problem is lack of asset management. Over the years I've got used to managing my photos in Adobe Lightroom and sending a number of them with a single right-click to Photoshop as multi-layers, or for HDR processing, or for Panorama merger. Working with multi-files in Affinity isn't that straightforward, it's more time consuming. Another important feature I use in Lightroom is geotagging my photos by merging geodata recorded on my outdoor GPS device. I'd be more than happy to switch to Affinity as my sole photo editor, but please add even a basic asset manager. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 19, 2017 Staff Posted December 19, 2017 Hi tadturski, Welcome to Affinity Forums We do intend to develop a DAM application later, see our FAQ for more details. I'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section as it has more chances to get picked there. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
