I think I hit tab to toggle toolbars and then hit it again and it put the toolbar back on the left but didn't put the layers toolbar back on the right. Can't seem to find how to get it back. Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc. To backup such settings before resetting the app, please watch our Affinity - Exporting User Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts video.
