Craig Duck Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Howdy! I just bought Affinity for my iPad Pro and haven't yet gone through the tutorials. Do I need the iPencil to use Affinity correctly? What am I sacrificing if I don't have an iPensil? What is the best brand / model of an iPencil should I get. I'm choking on spending another $99. I welcome your advice. CD Quote
DM1 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Pretty sure it only works with the Apple Pencil. The app works very well using your fingers, so an I pencil is not required. However, I feel the Apple Pencil takes it to the next level. One of the best accessories I have purchased and well worth the money. Use it with Nebo to convert your handwriting to editable text. Staff MEB Posted December 17, 2017 Staff Posted December 17, 2017 Hi Craig Duck, Welcome to Affinity Forums As DM1 pointed out only the Apple Pencil is supported. If the added precision does worth it, that's something only you can decide. Have you tried one in an Apple Store? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Craig Duck Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 I’ve been afraid to. If I have one in my hand I will have to buy it. I just don’t want to have to do the whole whine, beg, plead thing with my wife. Maybe I’ll buy one on the 31st. Quote
