DaDe Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Hello, I read through several topics but it seems that there is still no solution in exporting a pdf file with layers so that it is then correctly displayed in the pdf reader and usable for print-shops ? The Artboard tool doesn`t solve the problem as it creats only a multiple page pdf BUT STILL no multiple layer pdf? Is there a solution coming up? at this stage Affinity designer is useless for creating wide expected printing files ... Thank you Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MikeW Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 PDF/X-1a & PDF/X-3 (both revisions for each flavor) cannot contain layers. PDF/X-4 and simple Acrobat compatibility versions 1.5 and above can contain layers. And unless something has broken, AD can create layers in a PDF as per the spec.
