I have noticed a lot of fonts were removed in the last update to affinity photo shop

Any reason for this ?

I miss my terminator fonts and other mechanical fonts 

How can we upload those fonts back , any tutorial how to do it ?

I don't think these were by Affinity supplied fonts, did you checked if those maybe were already available system fonts instead, which just might not been shown yet among the available fonts list?

yes they were I was using it on my banners.

There was some terminator fonts other techno fonts .

I don't understand why they were removed

Look into your systems (Win or Mac) font management list if those are still there but possibly not shown in AP.

Fonts are generally installed on a system wide shared base, meaning usually for the operating system so they can be reused by all apps which can deal with those. You can download fonts and install them on your OS, usually by extracting some zip file which contains the fonts (TTF or OTF files) and then performing a double click or right menu click install on these.

There are a bunch of font websites which do offer free and commercial fonts ...

• terminator
• mechanical fonts
• myfonts
• ...and so on, do a google search...

Other than that it's possible that AP has problems with showing up OTF fonts, thus check if they might be already installed on your system OS and when yes, if other apps you use do show up these fonts inside their font selection panels.

Ok guys i understand , somehow i had no idea that this fonts have to be installed on the computer in general , since i was using my new computer i guess this one has less fonts installed .

Today i went to my older computer and all of the fonts are here until i make an upgrade and for some reason the fonts are going to be uninstalled .

It’s unlikely that the fonts were licenced only for use on a single computer, with no provision to transfer them to another computer that you own, so you should be able to simply copy the font files from the older computer to the newer one and then install them in the usual way.
