How to reset Affinity Designer on windows?

So I pressed the wrong button on my keyboard and my set up was ruined, after trying to reset it to what I had it I still can't get all I want. I would have just dealt with it but it did something weird again. 

 

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. ufabet

Welcome to the forum

 

To reset Designer back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. 

 

Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc. To backup such settings before resetting the app, please watch our Affinity - Exporting User Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts video.

Great, however, when logging in system decidced to load iOS version!!

You cannot run the iOS version of the software on Windows.
You are probably seeing the iOS assets that are loaded by default.
Just close the Assets Panel if you don’t need those assets.

Would like to know what key or function I inadvertently hit to cause the tool functions to vanish!

Probably the Tab key, just press it again.
