Can I download Affinity Designer from the Microsoft Store if I've purchased it from this website?

I have just purchased Affinity Photo from the Microsoft Store in Windows 10, but I purchased Affinity Designer from this website a few weeks ago. I am just wondering if its somehow possible for me to also download and install Affinity Designer from the Microsoft Store in Windows 10 using my existing license?

Welcome to Affinity Forums

No, the existing license from the Affinity Store cannot be used with the Microsoft Store version (which doesn't require product keys at all) and there's no way to to swap the licenses between the two, sorry.

Functionality wise they work exactly the same way - apart from the need for the product key as mentioned and the automatic updates provided by the  Microsoft Store (when enabled).

If your purchase of Designer is within the 14 day money back period you can email contact affinityreturns@serif.com to request a refund and then repurchase Designer from the Microsoft store
