catlover Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 By way of experiment I created an Asset and then deleted it. I then saved the file without the asset. Now, each time I open the pertaining file, I get a message (see pic). It seems it's somehow embedded, but I picked do not embed asset upon saving it without the asset. I simply don't know how to get rid of it. Is there a bright brain ot give me a hand with this ? Please make my day, Thanks C.L. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 6, 2017 Staff Posted December 6, 2017 Hi catlover, Open that file importing the assets to your collection, then go to the Assets panel select the category you added to the file from the dropdown on top, click the small menu icon on the top right of the Assets panel and uncheck Embed in current document. Save the file. It should not display that message when you re-open it next time. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
catlover Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 Hi, MEB Thank you for that . Did the Uncheck & Save thing, but I'm afraid the message is still coming up when opening that particular file. I gave up & dumped it and went back to an earlier version when I still hadn't created the assetBest, C.L. Quote
