deeds
How do I turn off these annoying object borders? And, side note, how do I start a file with a black background instead of white?
Staff MEB Posted February 11, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2015 Hi deeds, Go to View -> Snapping Manager and uncheck Show snapping candidates. There's currently no way to change the color of the background other than filing a layer with a solid color. nikolai.ylirotu and vonBusing 1 1 A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
deeds
argh, thanks. Same as the weird lexicon and behaviour of this in Affinity Designer. Got it. I fucking hate that I can't have this feature on AND have a chance to see the image without those borders for a quick moment. Like a little toggle key for this would be awesome, or it knowing that I've currently got nothing selected and not holding a drawing tool, therefore am interested in seeing the work as it is without showing these until I either select an object or a tool that creates objects. On the background... please put four options in the New File popup: Black, White, Transparent, Custom ::: for background colour. It's a nightmare to get that bright flash of white when working on dark UI stuff.
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted February 11, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2015 I agree that the candidate lines could be more adaptive - we will look at that.. Background options are already scheduled to be implemented ;) Thanks, Andy. vonBusing
