Hi,

just a question, because I'm thinking - do you think it is a good idea to buy the Affinity Photo book, if I usually don't do RAW pictures, because I just don't have the room on my computer for such big photo files. I'm doing a lot of video, so I'm a bit limited concerning that. There still a lot of options in JPEG editing, aren't there? I would appreciate on honest answer, because I have to save money a bit as well. Thank you very much!

Best wishes,

Christian

Well that's hard to tell so you have to decide purely on your own here, since nobody here really knows what's best for you! - However the Photo Workbook isn't just about RAW development, it deals with all feature aspects of the software. You best look through the book chapters contents (see the above link) and might then decide on your own here!

Hi,
My question, how current is the new workbook for Affinity Photo? Will be the last one
Update handling version 1.6.1.93? Since there are several in this last version
I did not want to buy an outdated book, for the older versions I already bought one.
Translated by the German again with the Google translator.
Best regards,
Dieter

I have asked this question before but probably in the wrong place, Sorry

Hello Christian,
In the beginning, when you could buy AP, I bought the learning DVD from Thomas Kuhn to see what you can do with the program. Later still the book by Markus Wäger, in it however only until AP 1.5, both from the Rheinwerk publishing house. If the workbook is not up-to-date, then it does not help me much. In addition, I would order the German edition, I do not need a translator for that.
Best regards, Dieter
