photogeek
I have the Nik Collection installed on my MacBook Air but I went to install it today onto my new MacBook Pro. I've downloaded the Nik Collection, gone through the process for adding the plugins but they never show up after the restart. I took two screen shots. One trying to activate a single plugin, and the other with the whole folder like I did the last time. Neither option resulted in Affinity restarting showing the Plugins. Staff MEB Posted November 30, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 30, 2017 Hi photogeek, You are pointing to the folder where the Nik stand alone apps are stored and not the plugin files themselves (which end with .plugin). Check this video: Installing Nik Plugins (macOS) in particular the step that starts at 00:34s. You have to click the plus sign to create a custom location to where put the plugin files. It's this location that must be added to the Plugin Search Folders section in Affinity Photo. stokerg 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
photogeek
Thank you so much, I had indeed missed that step. Thanks for getting back so quickly.
