gscot Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 In the Affinity Photo Workbook, pg 122, I'm directed to apply a filter via the filter menu: Noise > Add Noise. I do, it's pretty, but my question is this: Is this a rare example of "destructive" editing, in that for me to change the noise factor I've added would involve going through a series of "undoing"? That is, there is no way for me to change the parms on the add noise, nor to eliminate it with a click, correct? This is apparently the nature of filters applied through the filter menu. Quote
R C-R Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Live Filters & Adjustments are implemented as layers so they are non-destructive, but everything on the Filters menu is applied directly to the selected pixel layer(s) so they are destructive. DidiS Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Hi,My question, how current is the new workbook for Affinity Photo? Will be the last oneUpdate handling version 1.6.1.93? Since there are several in this last versionI did not want to buy an outdated book, for the older versions I already bought one.Translated by the German again with the Google translator.Best regards,Dieter Quote
