Affinity Designer Won't Shut Down

Recommended Posts

For some reason the program crashed and ever since, when I try to close it, I get this notification  "at least one file is currently being opened. Please wait for files to load before quitting application".   I have tried uninstalling, both Designer and Photo, doing a registry clean up using CCleaner and installing the latest versions of the programs but it still won't shut down.  I have to do an 'end task' in task manager to close it.  Any advice, please?

Due to the fact that Boris Johnson is now our Prime Minister, punctuation, spelling and grammar will never be worried about ever again.  We now have far bigger problems to be worried about.

Could you zip up one of the following directories and upload it to this thread please?

%APPDATA%\Affinity\Photo\1.0

or

%APPDATA%\Affinity\Designer\1.0
