Hi,I've just purchased a new computer. I visited Affinity site to re-download the software onto this. There appears no way to do this without purchasing again, which I obviously don't wish to do. How do you transfer or download my purchased copy? Thank you.

Hi bigpip,

Welcome to the forums.

If you purchased the Windows versions of our Affinity apps, you'll need to login to your Affinity Store account and then access the Downloads & Product Keys section for the links to download. If you purchased for Mac, just login to the Mac App Store using the same Apple ID that was used to purchase the apps and they will be available in the Purchased section.

Re the Windows Affinity Store access: what is not immediately obvious is that once you are logged in you will see a page that seems to list all current products as available to buy, rather than redownload!  You need to scroll to the bottom of that page and click on "My Account" (see the attached screenshot).

You can also click on your name at the top of the page, next to the 'Sign Out' button. That takes you to the same page as clicking on the "My Account" link at the bottom of the page.

Indeed you can!  You learn something new every day (as they say).

Thanks R C-R.

Hi!
 have a question:
I would like to purchase now Affinity Designer I am working with Windows. However, in a year or so I will be probably getting a Mac.
Would it be possible to re-download Affinity Designer for a different system? Or do I have to pay twice?

Thank you in advance,
Raquel

You would need two payments, one for Windows one for Mac.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

My download isn't there in my list. I went via Microsoft which means I have to deal with them. What a stuff up.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Soe. :)

If you purchased from the Microsoft Store via a Windows 10 PC you should see the download listed when you log in to the store using the same MS account as you used for your original purchase. Please note that the MS Store versions of the Affinity apps only work on Windows 10.
