michael50 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I'd like to select objects (with the move tool) in the way it work in Illustrator. That is, for e.g. a square I just draw the mouse rectangle above one corner and then it will be selected. With Affinity Designer I have to drag the mouse rectangle across all four corners which I find less effective. Is this possible? I didn't find any setting. Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 27, 2017 Staff Posted November 27, 2017 Hi michael50, Welcome to Affinity Forums You can set Affinity apps to behave the same way: go to Affinity Designer/Photo Preferences, Tools section and tick Select object when intersects with selection marquee. Note: You can also achieve the same result if you press and hold ⌃(ctrl) while drawing the selection marquee without changing the Prefs option. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
michael50 Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 Awesome! Seems like I missed that section of the preferences. Thanks a lot! Quote
