Can I use Affinity for commercial use?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

My trial expired and I want to buy Affinity software soon. I have two questions:

1. Can I use Affinity for commercial purposes?

2. Can I install Affinity multiply times (like Adobe software, you know, is Affinity assigned to my account or something)?

Thank you! :)

Hi Simon111,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

1. Of course. You've paid for it.

2. As long as you are the only one using it for commercial purposes, yes, you can install it on multiple machines you own/control on a single platform (Windows or Mac). If you need to use it on Mac and Windows machines you have to buy one license for each OS.

Here's the link for the End User License Agreement (EULA) for Windows (similar terms/conditions apply on Mac).

Is it ok to use all the fonts for commercial use?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Sunsirray. :)

No fonts are automatically installed with the Affinity apps, they just use whatever fonts are available on your computer. If you’re unsure whether you’re covered for your intended use, check the licences for the fonts in question.
