Hey, all!

So I'm just wondering if it's ever been mentioned when Affinity Photo/Designer 2.0 is due out.

I'm asking because I know that if I buy the current version (1.6 at the time of writing this) I will need to re-purchase 2.0, being that when you buy the software it is only supported through its current version (1.X). So I'm concerned that I'll end up having to pay again in just a few months... which if that's the case I'd rather just wait.

Thanks!

Dave

No release date announced for 2.0 versions. The staff have indicated that there will be 1.x versions until everything on the roadmaps is included, so it is extremely unlikely 2.0 versions will be released in the next several months, probably more like a year or more.

This question's been asked a few times in the past (and quite recently).  There are no dates for v2, but it's unlikely to be any time soon.  Once it's released that doesn't mean that v1 won't be supported and there's no reason why you couldn't carry on using it.
