can I change the default "OPEN" and SAVE file locations in  Affinity

There is no direct individual preferences setting for file locations available, instead the apps usually do remember the last used directory locations for these and thus offer then those places via the open/save panels. So they default more always to the last used locations here!

Specifying locations for opening and saving files, preferably different locations for different file types, has been asked for on the features request forum.
