Tony4708
Hello all, It's me again ;-)) In addition to my previous problems, which arise after AP Update from 1.5 to 1.6 (which are partly solved), I have now discovered an other problem. All my default AP brushes have disappeared. Someone an idea how to get it back? I look forward to the solution Sincerely Ton
Alfred
Press the Ctrl key on your keyboard, keep it held down while you launch the app, and continue to hold it down until the 'Clear User Data' dialog appears. Release the Ctrl key, press the 'Deselect All' button, check the 'Reset Brushes' checkbox and then press 'Clear'. Alfred
That's very strange, Ton! I suspect you may need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall, but perhaps someone else will be able to offer a less drastic solution. Staff Lee D Posted November 22, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2017 Try a general reset, follow the same steps as before, when the window appears. Leave the first three ticked and click Clear.
Tony4708
I hope that @Alfred, even if it stays "deafening" anyone have an idea?. My problem has not been solved yet.
Tony4708
@Alfred, @Lee D, and all of you, With problems I report here on the forum. When I have a solution it is certainly neat to report this here too. Well, with the update from 1.6.0.xx to 1.6.1.93 my brushes have been repaired. However, I now missed the installed macros. I had this on disk and therefore re-imported and run again. Thanks again so far, Greetings Ton Alfred
Metallady
I have the same problem. After a crash my brushes are gone.
Metallady
Run the repair tool by starting affinity-photo-1.6.1.93.exe. Stop exiftool.exe in Windows task manager's processes. I did so and my brushes came back.
eV_
I have the same issue and all the mentioned solutions didn't work for me. I also reset the brushes to defaults in order to have at least the default brushes. Still nothing. Fortunately, the reinstall helped.
