R C-R Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 To clarify slightly, Affinity Photo does not output RAW format files & typical even high end DSLR cameras max out at about 12-15 effective bits per color channel. Working in a 32 bit color space in Affinity Photo makes much finer gradations of color than any human eye can see possible but may be useful when working in a smaller color space would produce banding or other artifacts that are detectable.
