ExifTool is also part of AP and resides on Win systems AFAI recall usually in "c:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Photo\Resources\exiftool.exe". - Further on Win, ExifTool usually also copies itself to the Temp directory of the logged in user. There, a folder is created, which begins with "par-" and ends a letter-number combination. In this folder there is then a subfolder "cache-exiftool-10.40" (the number is indicating the ExifTool version used).

However, since Viruses can also attack and place themself into EXE-files, when in doubt and for security reasons, check the "exiftool.exe" file with Windows Defender or another Antivirus checker so you know hopefully for sure!
