AliP03
Can anyone help me please?! I am editing some portraits and the blemish removal tool isn't working; it appears on screen as it should but when I click on the blemish, nothings happening???! Also, the vignette filter isn't working; when I add the layer, nothing happens. I'm confused as I've used these tools before! I'm using v1.6.0.89. Thanks in advance for any replies! toltec
Is the layer an Image layer ? If so you need to Rasterise it to turn it into a Pixel layer. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
AliP03
Hiya Yes, it is a pixel layer. I've opened the image (jpeg) and made some slight edits to the look of the image but want to now add the vignette but nothings happening when I try to add it. Thanks
AliP03
I think I've sorted it! I just opened the original image again and went to add the vignette before anything else and it's worked!

You must have the pixel layer selected, before you apply the vignette layer. AliP03 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. AliP03
You were right toltec! I didn't have the pixel layer selected...I get it now!!! Thank you so much for helping me; I'm new to Affinity and have only ever used mobile versions of other photo editing programmes so I have a lot to learn!
