nocksock
Hi! When I have several Nodes selected I was assuming that clicking on eg. "Align bottom edges" would align the nodes properly - but it's affecting the shape - which I found very counter intuitive. Is there another way to align nodes in AD? I couldn't find any. Staff MEB Posted November 15, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 15, 2017 Hi nocksock, Welcome to Affinity Forums The Alignment options only work with objects, not nodes. To align nodes, change to the Node Tool, select the objects containing the nodes you want to align - make sure the first icon in the Snap section in the context toolbar is pressed (Align to nodes of selected curves) then drag the nodes(s) from any of the objects you want to align. You should see smart guides appearing on scree to help you align them. retrograde
Hey MEB any idea when this will get addressed? Specifically more control over nodes... rotating, scaling, aligning etc...
