dotmanx
Hello, I hope someone replies this, i downloaded the beta today and tried to launch it only to get an error that beta has expired. MBP 10.9.4 . Also i feel the beta prog is flawed since in my opinion that many also use this process to learn how to use the application. Simply alert the version has expired and advice to download recent version for better experience rather than forcing the user to download a newer version every time. Newbies dont really report bugs atleast not technical ones, you just want to learn the package and yes you can pull the chord on launch date . can someone help with the beta expire thingy!! Staff Andy Somerfield Posted August 1, 2014 Staff Share Posted August 1, 2014 Hey dotmanx, Are you sure you're running the one you downloaded today? I just did the same here, and the build I just downloaded (1.0.17644 in the Affinity -> About menu) is working fine. The builds die about 1 month after downloading, to stop people mistakenly reporting issues with old builds - sorry if it's annoying, but it would be very difficult for us to manage this forum / beta otherwise, as you can imagine.. dotmanx
Thanks andy, re-downloaded and for some strange reasons its working for me now. Maybe a bug report form can be implemented within the app, (which tracks app version and all that ) to be used for bug submission ...just a thought.
