There is the Auto-scroll feature described in the help files as being in Panel Preferences. Which as any PC user will tell you, does not exist.

 

Now we have vertical text alignment.

 

To vertically align frame text:

• From the Text menu, select an option from the Vertical Alignment sub-menu.

 

Oh, no no no. 

 

OK it is correctly described above that, but ....

 

I think you ought to have a whip round and buy the documents team a PC. Remember, PC users have feelings too

Is the command missing from the Text menu?! I will check it out. Meanwhile you can do it trough the controls in the context toolbar with any of the text tools selected.

Yes, it is not there.

 

The button is on the Toolbar 

 

but no Vertical Alignment Sub-menu

Vertical alignment certainly used to be on the Text menu, so it has definitely been stolen

When was it last available via the Text menu? It wasn't there in 1.6.0.87 beta.

Indeed the Vertical Alignment entry is missing from the menu. Issue logged to be looked at.

Meanwhile please use the respective controls from the context toolbar. Sorry the inconvenience.
