Ir0n
Good day to you, I have a short question. I don't have a graphic tablet and I have to admit that the workflow is hardly slowed be the fact that I have to reselect the brush size in the upper left corner by clicking on it. In Photoshop is a very convinient option by choosing the size of the brush with keyboard+mouse-commands. Is it planned to inplement a similar feature in the upcomming releases? I have to be true Affinity Photo is cool but this point is the reason which slowes my workflow extremely and I really have to think about using Photoshop instead of a really great product. R C-R
The default keyboard shortcuts for increasing/decreasing brush size are the ] & [ keys respectively, but you can change that in the preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts > Photo section. Select any brush, check "Apply to all" & set the shortcut to something else. On Macs, you can hold down the Option & Control keys to interactively change brush size & hardness with the mouse: drag horizontally to change brush size & vertically to change hardness. There is an equivalent Windows method but because Windows has fewer modifier keys this is more complicated, involving both mouse buttons. Since I am not a Windows user, someone who is will likely post the method for that. I actually own both but I purchased the windows version. The better choice had been the OSX version especially when thinking about the touchbar...really annoying. toltec
On Windows, press the Alt key, then the Right mouse button then the Left mouse button and drag left or right to resize the brush or move the mouse up or down to change the brush hardness. Once you press the left mouse button and start to drag, you can release the Alt key and the Right mouse button. The size will continue to change until you release the left button.
