Unresponsiveness on Surface Pro 4

So I have an issue on my Surface Pro 4 (128gb/4gb) - after half an hour or so of use, Affinity Designer becomes semi-unresponsive. You can still use keyboard commands, but pull-down menus etc simply stop being clickable. You can open up a menu, but then you can't click on anything at all. Usually in this situation, I save with ctrl-S and then quit the software. Once restarted, it's fine for a bit... 

 

I thought this might get fixed in 1.6 but it's still happening.

 

On a happy note, thanks for improving the way drawing with the Surface Pen works. Much better now.
