sircarlphil
I now a Fuji X-T20 camera. Can anyone here confirm that the new Affinity Photo for Mac desktop will: * Open the compressed RAW files that I have the camera set to produce * Incorporate into the RAW files that it opens the lens corrections for Fuji X lenses stored in the metadata * Recognize RAW files with the camera's extended DR adjustments, if used Thank you. Staff Lee D Posted November 8, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 8, 2017 Hi sircarlphil, Welcome to the forums. At the moment only the Apple Core RAW engine supports opening uncompressed RAW files from a FujiFilm X-T20. Which you can switch to within the Develop Assist window, our own SerifLabs engine has yet to be updated with support. Because of this I don't believe that support is for the DR adjustments will be available. However if you wish to upload a sample compressed RAW file with DR adjustment applied I will test it. sircarlphil
My question was about opening COMPRESSED RAW files, not uncompressed. Or is that what you meant to write?
JPNE
I am very interested in possibly purchasing Affinity Photos (Mac version) to support my use of Fujifilm's X-E3 camera, which gives .RAF (RAW) compressed and uncompressed files as well as jpg files. I notice that the sircarlphil / Lee D discussions occurred in early November 2017. Have there been any developments in Affinity Photo's software in its ability in handling Fujifilm compressed and uncompressed RAW (RAF) files since that time?
