Have you attached a screenshot.
I am very happy if you could help me.

Many Thanks!

Note:
The complete photo is displayed, only in small size.
Display: 1920 x1080.

Thank you also for your great program and your attention to detail! Well done!

I hope that my english is understandable.

Best regards

Hi, someone else appears to have the same problem - https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/49267-affinity-photo-16-problem/

What is your Windows Display Scale?

Can you attach the image in your screenshot?

Hello,

my Windows Display Scale:  1920 x1080. I attached the photo in question below.

One more note:
a) At first I just updated the program: error as described.
b) Then I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it again: The error occurred again.

In the meantime I loaded at least 10 photos (Canon and Fuji) in jpg and raw format. Always the same aberration.

Best regards

Ralf

Hi, 1920x1080 is your screen resolution. Display scale would be something like 100% or 200% etc.

In preferences what are your retina options? Automatic? fastest? Slowest?

Hi Mark,
thank you very much for taking care of the problem so quickly.
a) My display scale is "22%". You can also read this on my first screenshot at navigator.
b) My retina option (retina rendering) is "automatic (best)"

Did I help you with this or do you need more information?

First of all thank you for your support.

Best regards
Ralf

Hi, 22% is your zoom level, the Windows Display Scale is a setting in Windows itself:

Hi,

my Windows Display Scale is "130 %". Please see below.

Thank you.

Hello xleo, hello Mark,

I have followed xleo's advice and in the AF setting "retina rendering": low quality (fastest) registered. The display error was corrected afterwards.

The error correction can alternatively be done by the following setting:
a) set the above retina setting back to "automatic (best)".
b) In the Windows system settings, set the display size from 130% (user-defined) to 125% (default-option). As a result, the display error has now been corrected.

Whether the above-mentioned troubleshooting options for other users is successful, I can not say. Just try it!

Best regards
Ralf

Setting display to 125% fixes the problem? Thanks for the feedback!

As described above, the display problem is that setting the Windows representation to 125% fixed. All user-oriented settings definitely lead to errors.
best regards
Ralf
