Start up both apps and close them down... then start them up again.  The app saves a file at start-up that we use to detect compatible copies of installed software.  Hopefully the edit-in options should become enabled.

Having same issue since latest update all the sudden. All the "Edit in" options are all greyed out now. Never were before. I opened, closed and reopened both apps, and still happening! I have (AND NEED) all three affinity apps. Not sure why this is going on??

Not sure why this is going on, but all it does is make me never want to do another update for at least a year with you all any more, because something I need always breaks and I'm left going back to Adobe to actually get work done. Come on guys!

What OS, and where did you purchase each of the apps?

Can you confirm for us the exact release level of each app, as reported by the About dialog?
