hausio
OS X 10.11, AP 1.6.6 and Version before: I tried to install the free Nik Collection from google and creating the path in the plugin window. AP lists the filters in the left part (mostly all with status "unknown"(yellow), global support is activated and the path is set correctly. After x restarts of AP and uninstalling/installing the filters, I only get the message "your trial has expired". I downloaded the free version of NC a day ago. Meanwhile the downloaded NC filters work fine on the alternative app Adobe Elements. I appreciate any suggestions to solve my problem. hausio

hausio
Thanks for your quick answer. The box is/was ticked since my first trial to install them. Is there maybe any "pref file" to delete?
GS-Photography
Hello, I have the same issue: After reading your post, I just tried to click the "Globale Verwendung autorisiern". After that, plus a restart, the filters work as expected. Regards, GS "
Staff MEB Posted November 3, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 3, 2017 Hi hausio, Remove all those paths from the input field right above the Authorise Global button. Then click the Authorise Global button and then Authorise again from the Finder dialog that will open (do NOT pick any path here - it must default to your Macintosh HD drive - you should only see a forward slash "/" in the input field. Restart Affinity after these changes and the plugins should work. hausio
Perfect! I removed all the paths and the only left is "/". Now it works! Thanks a lot! Kind regards hausio
Danzig
My trial Nix collection did not expired but I bought the Nix Collection and downloaded it. Do I have uninstalled the trial? Will it automatically use the paid version I purchased
John Rostron
@Danzig, I installed the paid version on top of the old, free version. I found that APh uses the new version and ignores the old.
