Can't Download Bonus Content

Hi Tan Hock Soon,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

If you haven't bought the Affinity Designer Workbook from the Affinity Store you don't have an account there yet (since the only other thing we sell there are the windows versions of our apps). So you need to create a new account to be able to access the extras. Do the following:

- Go to menu Help ▸ Welcome... to launch the Welcome Screen.

- One of the horizontal scrolling pages has a link to claim the extras. Click the Claim Now button.

You will be directed to the Your Order Summary page

- Add your e-mail to the New To Affinity? tab on bottom and click Add my email

Then follow the rest of the instructions. You shouldn't have trouble from that point. Keep the details you entered for this account (Affinity Store) safe as you may need them later for other offers etc.

Hi jrotem,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Go to the Affinity Designer/Photo ▸ Preferences, General section and change the Language on the bottom to English. Restart the app. Check if the Welcome Screen was  updated with the new pages.

Hello MEB -- you certainly have your hands full! I did try that, and I also tried the "New to Affinity?" method to create an account that you outlined in the other thread, but 1) I don't see any "New to Affinity" and 2) the slides on the apps remained the same after changing the language and restarting. Got any other tricks? ;) 

 

 

[edit]  I just found the "New to" link ... let's see what happens.
