Fantasy Fish

Recommended Posts

They're definitely fantasy fish if they can swim above the water.

After looking at the image full-size I have a few - hopefully constructive - comments:
* I don't know if it's an effect of exporting to JPEG but some of the edges are a bit "severe". The top of the sea at the top-left is one area where this is quite visible. You could try feathering the mask to remove this.
* Some of the sea looks to be at a different pixel density to the rest of the image. The dark patches at the right show this problem. You could try blurring the sea a tiny bit to remove this.
* I'm not sure where the "focus" of the camera is. To try and explain: The yellow-and-white fish at the mid-left is out of focus compared to the large blue-and-yellow fish to its left while the blue-and-yellow fishes on the right are in focus but the shoal behind them is too. If you decide what should be in focus and then blur things in front and behind it can make for a better image but don't blue things too much. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depth_of_field for more info'.

None of these things - except the "flying" fish - are a major problem but fixing them would make the image much more believable.
