support for pattern brushes

I was very interested in this:

But I wasn't sure it would work in Affinity Designer so I wrote to the creator and this is the answer I got:

 

Unfortunately, I haven't converted this one to Affinity as it's pattern brush feature isn't accurate enough to make the brushes as good as I’d like. If they improve it in the future I'll definitely make an Affinity version.

 

So is this something that is being worked on? Or is there something like these brushes out there that do work with Affinity Designer?

Looking at some of the vector brushes linked to the url, I noticed some ivy.

Seems like w. sufficient skill, much the same thing can be done w. Affinity.  Perhaps not to the Vector Florist's standards, but quite fine is possible. I've made a few brushes, not nearly so refined, but usable. What Affinity does at present is place bit maps along a vector path. It doesn't yet automatically do vector shapes/images repeated along a path. That is still manual.

 

As far as I know, no one is selling products like them at this time.
