Scott Williams
Is there a single click layer effects toggle in Affinity Photo? It would be nice to be able to toggle the layer effects with a single click without having to activate the FX panel and deactivate them one at a time and then activate them again. Cheers. Scott. toltec
Don't think so. Best way would be to make a duplicate of the layer before you apply the effects, then hide or show the before or after layer. The other option would be to use snapshots. Quote Windows PCs. walt.farrell
This is the Questions part of the forum, and "+1" will have no effect. Requests for enhancements are in the Feature Requests & Suggestions part of the forum, not here. Edited May 12, 2022 by walt.farrell Fix typo mentioned below. Thanks! Yes, that sometimes (but relatively rarely) happens. It has not happened in this question topic which is now approaching 5 years old, and so is unlikely to happen here. Serif, if he wants, will use any ideas placed anywhere on this forum (or anywhere else). The division of the forum into Questions and Suggestions is therefore more with regard to users, so that it is easier for them to find their way around the forum, to find them more easily on topics that interest them and, if necessary, not to write duplicate posts. As we experienced meanwhile the age of a thread is not really a measure of any consequences, either here or in the Requests. – What should prevent a moderator from stepping in even years later? (as happened, for example, in one of the Global Layer threads). 10 minutes ago, walt.farrell said: Yes, that sometimes (but relatively rarely) happens. So what? Not only "rarely" is relative also a rare improvement is an improvement – though compared to the number of requests, especially quite a few quite old ones, improvements may appear to happen rarely anyway. The most effective way is to use the Feature Requests forum and follow the guidelines there; like to search first, keep requests concise & well titled, & so on. The least effective way is to add a +1 to one of the topics in this forum because it is likely to be overlooked by the staff who are already very busy just trying to keep up with the volume of topics & replies posted here & answer whatever questions they can.
