Sees The Day
just got an iPad Pro and my FIRST purchase was Affinity photo to go along with my Lightroom Mobile. I can use Lightroom and then “Open In” and send it to Affinity, but I have no idea how to send it “back” to lightroom along side the original in the catalog? Photoshop Mix and other applications have a “save back to Lightroom” option. Please tell me if there is a way . Without it, it is fairly useless to have images scattered all over the place. Thanks! Staff Lee D Posted October 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 16, 2017 Hi Sees The Day, Welcome to the forums. Once you have finished editing the image in Affinity Photo, you can use Export > Share to save a copy back to Lightroom. However this will be a new separate image in LR, which you won't be able to undo the adjustments made in Affinity. More functionality may be added to Affinity in the future to allow direct writeback. Sees The Day
But as an "export", I would then have to "import" it into Lightroom Mobile. Other applications automatically add it back to the lightroom catalog next to the original. Is this not possible with Affinity mobile? Having to "reimport" it to the catalog after every edit would be really inconvenient. anon1
