JoB4031
The justification that the mini screen can not show as much as the full sized iPad is BS. They have the same resolution. Now physical size is smaller on the mini, but this is part of the reason I have a mini. I don’t need the oversized UI of a larger screen IPad. I will keep using Affinity for Mac, hoping someday to use it on my 2017 iPad as well. I don’t ever expect to have an oversized iPad, for the size of device, I will just use my more capable MacBook. Staff MEB Posted October 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 14, 2017 Hi JoB4031, Welcome to Affinity Forums The question is the UI is not oversized in the regular iPad. It's just big enough to be easily manageable/easy to use with the fingers and Apple Pencil. On the iPad Mini the controls would become smaller and more difficult to operate. TerryWills
Yes, that's why this series is call iPad Mini - mini indicates the size is smaller than other devices from the list of iPad models. Apple does care for people's needs and that's why I admire the company, as well as Jobs.

Affinity apps would probably be fine on an iPad Mini if you could use the Apple Pencil, but I wouldn’t like to try using them with my fingers on anything smaller than my 9.7” iPad Air 2 screen.
