Rick G
Would someone please check this? I selected the sky in a photo., When I tried to mask it with quick masking (or use the refine button) the inverse was shown When I tried to add a masking layer it was not added Other odd things happened when trying to invert the selection Gojng back to v 1.5 ans selecting / masking works as expected Thanks Dave Quail 1 Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Dave Quail
Agreed. Exactly the same behaviour in AP '85 for me... Staff Sean P Posted October 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 16, 2017 Hi Rick, Just tried this myself and both 1.5 and 1.6 beta are responding the same. I use the Selection Brush Tool and select the Sky and then turn on Quick Mask. The unselected areas then show as red/black/white depending on your Quick Mask setting. You able to post a screenshot of what you're seeing in 1.6 and 1.5? What I have noticed however is that Show Mask as Transparent isn't working and the Invert/Deselect/Select All options buttons are ignored which I believe is what you meant by 'odd'? That is part of it. There are just random inconsistencies. That statement is of no help at all so I will start tracking some of them Thanks for the respons Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
