chris82
If I create a new image using 'File > New from Clipboard' is there a way to rasterize the layer by default rather than having to right the layer and select Rasterize? Or any image actually. I quite often do UI work where I take a snapshot of the current UI and create proof of concepts from it. Although it's a small thing it would make my life a lot easier as it keeps catching me out.
Staff stokerg Posted October 12, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 12, 2017 Hi Chris82 and Welcome to the Forums, There isn't an automatic way to rasterize the layer by default in Designer or Photo. But if you are using Affinity Photo you could always record a Macro to rasterize the layer for you, but this would have to be run after the 'New From clipboard' command, so would only save you a few mouse clicks. chris82
toltec
Or just apply a keyboard shortcut to Rasterise. I set = File > New From Clipboard then just press = chris82 and R C-R 2 Quote Windows PCs. Butler To Cats
In the same gardening theme, gourd help you if you are a Deaf or hard-of-hearing person trying to learn using the auto-generated captions on some YouTube videos (fortunately James's clear voice seems to transcribe quite well for Affinity videos)
