Tone Mapping Presets [FREE]

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the file, expanded, and imported into AF. Because I already have a Category named Hanan Edwards Presets, it installed as Personal Presets. So I believe the file is valid.

I have my Safari setting Open "safe" files after downloading unchecked so I can verify files before I expand them.

If you have your Downloads Folder sorted by Date Modified and expand the file, it may not appear next the the .zip file in your file list.

Hope this helps.

Hanan Thank you so much for these lovely presets. I have just run through them on a newly developed image and they are all very attractive, I am sure that they will be useful. Very much appreciate your work and posting these for sharing. :) Tanya (new AF user.) xx

I am having trouble uploading this! :(  The file can't be found in my downloads when I click to import! Is this only for windows version? Looking forward to trying them out!

Hi, I use a MacBook 2011 Mavericks and the download worked ok.  I opened AP, and a random image.  I switched to the Tone Mapping persona and at the pane's top right menu clicked on import... navigated to download and bingo.  Good luck

Affinity Photo on M1 Mac... Tone Map persona, import, select your .aftonemap file... nothing shows up... nothing happens. It acts like it imports it, but there is no new tonemap to use. Bummer!! So many issues with AP. I just don't see how anyone uses it in a production environment. Maybe it's just me... too many years using Photoshop I guess.

AD v.1.9.2.1035  on Windows desktop and this is what I am seeing.

That looks like you're trying to Open the file.

You need to be in the Tone Mapping Persona, then in the Presets panel use the Panel Preferences (hamburger) menu and Import Presets:

On Windows, you get a new Preset category named Personal Presets with presets named Ovanda, Etonye, Nerak, and more.

Ah-ha! I found it. User error (kind of). After importing the tone map, I scrolled down expecting to see it. As shown in the image, the little bitty arrows next to "Default" are difficult to see but that is where the new tone maps are found. Hopefully this image can help any other "newbie" quickly resolve this issue.Import_tonemap01.jpg.e7b32715e40009b5829b3763dc10e26f.jpg
