Vector Brushes do not reset

Recommended Posts

If you select a vector brush and change it via the MORE button, you cannot reset it. THe button does not work

Samething here. Reset works as long as you do not close the window and use the brush. Once closed and reopened Reset does nothing.

But it's probably by design.... it just saves the brush as you set it up, and it's ready for the next use...

Hi Rick,

This seems to be working for me. What brushes are you finding are not getting reset and what are you changing?

ResetBrush.mp4

I had a texture brush in use and tried to change it via the MOE button on the toolbar. It took the changes but would not reset.

Resetting via the brushes panel works correctly

The reset button will only reset the changes you've made in that dialog session. If you've gone into that dialog, made changes and exited, and then reenter and make changes it will not reset the first set of changes you made.

I entered it once, exited to use it then went back in to reset it

My expectation is that reset would reset to the default stat as it seems to be doing via the brushes tab. I had not done any editing via the brushes tab

I'm OK with the way the Reset Button works right now. Reset Brushes in Preferences resets all brush to "factory default". So a "Reset to Default" button in the Brush panel would be nice. That way you can reset just the current brush and don't loose all the others.

+1 But the action of the reset button under MORE in the toolbar needs to be fixed I would think

A "Cancel" button (changes you just made), and a "Reset" button (to factory settings), both for the current brush only. Everyone would be happy .
