Border around Objects when adding childelements

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I frequently have the (cosmetic) problem that when i add a layer insider an object, the border of that objects gets blurry.

The exported image looks ok so i suspect this is a Affinity Designer "Problem". Not really a problem but it is a bit annoying to work on something that looks blurry in the creation process. :-)

In the attached image you can see on the left the object (transparent) with a white rectangle inside and on the right the same object with just the white color. the object on the left shows the blurry border.

Or could it be that the object is not pixel perfect? if so, how can i get it pixel perfect?

Thank you!

Hi Damogran,

Welcome to the forums :)

This is by design what you are seeing is the apps anti aliasing. You can get around this by putting a small stroke around the object which is the same colour as the background.
