William Cartwright
I'm having such a blast playing with Designer. A couple things escape me. One. Is there a way to have vector brushes paint only within a selection? I assume there must be a way to accomplish this, but I can't figure it out. Two. Is there a way to add perspective (distortion) to vector-based type or shapes in Designer. I could do this with rasterized shapes in AP, but I'm trying to do some vector-only projects to build my skills. What a great program!!! dutchshader
One, copy the shape than paste inside and paint on the pasted copy. Two, this is not possible in designer, only skew William Cartwright 1 Quote intel core i5, 16GB 128Gb ssd win10 Pro Huion new 1060plus. philips 272p 2560x1440px on intel HD2500 onboard graphics Razer Tartarus Chroma

gdenby
As above, no perspective tool in AD at present. You can also place vector brush strokes in a pixel selection. From a pixel layer, make a selection, and make that a separate layer. Using the Insert Inside option on the selected layer, the vector brush strokes only shows up in the pix layer. William Cartwright
Thanks to all. I couldn't figure this out myself and appreciate the help! Too bad about lacing perspective. That's a huge hole. Bill
