I hope marketplace slowly can accept .afdesign next. 2. Is it possible to shorten the file format? maybe .ad .afd .afde or other shorther formats. it is just my thinking, may be a further development material. Ai is a proprietary/closed format owned by Adobe so we are not able to export it. 2. What's the issue with the current format? If anything it helps to identify the files more clearly. If you export your files to PDF and rename them from *.pdf to *.ai, they should behave like Illustrator files that have been exported with a PDF stream. MikeW Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Alfred, EPS 10 simply is an eps file exported from Illustrator version 10, but if one chose to, it includes the Illy version 10 AI format in the file in the private data section.
