Mangeman
I just bought this program and so far I really like it. However, my obsessive nature compels me to ask, where on the Mac hard drive are my custom assets stored? It would be nice to be able to select a custom folder under preferences so that I can back my assets up periodically.
R C-R
Assets are stored in per user files like ~/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/assets.propcol. However, these are not stored in a format suitable for backups. For that, use the "Export Assets..." option available from the Assets panel's 'hamburger' menu. Note that each category must be exported separately. You can then use the "Import Assets..." option on the same menu to bring a category back into AD.
