fleckintosh
Hey! I like to say thank you for affinity photo. sadly my camera is not yet supported. i like to provide some RAW photos to help you support my camera. My camera is the Fujifilm X-T1, one of the best cameras in 2014. What adobe does with the X-Trans support is mean. so i like to switch and kick adobes *** ;) Please tell me how to support you with Fujifilm X-T1 RAW file support! The first beta gives me just a black picture, nothing else. I would love to try affinity photo!!!! Michael PS: i like to upload some RAWs, but the file size is ~40MB. awiedl
roger_s
I also get a black image with X-T1 files but X-Pro1 and X100S files open just fine. I also noticed that the various adjustment options are more full-featured when editing TIFF files than they are when editing RAW files. I don't understand the difference; I hope that's scheduled to be corrected as the beta progresses.
summiter
THANKS Affinity Beta 1 developers. I don't know how you did it right out of the starting gate- but my Fuji X-E1 raw conversions can be color-balanced more quickly and accurately than I've been able to do in PhotoNinja. Actually, I got a great white balance on a shot that I couldn't get done accurately in PN, despite 10 minutes of fiddling. With Affinity, 30 seconds. KUDOS! (No please add the X-T1 raw conversion when you can. That's my main camera.)
sapphie
I have tried the latest beta with my X-trans files (from X-Pro 1 and X100T) and am very pleasantly surprised by how well you are dealing with these!! The colours are fantastic and with a few tweaks in the noise reduction, detail refinement panels and then adding a little USM I am getting great results! One question though - I am on a MacBook Air at the moment and my X-trans files take about 10 secs to load. Whilst this is happening there is no UI feedback on what is happening. I appreciate that for most formats this will be near instant but for X-trans (and I suspect Foveon) files it will take longer. Could you add some sort of progress bar at this stage? Similarly, when tweaking the parameters within Develop persona generally? Thanks Lee
