Affinity's possible Lightroom competitor?

Recommended Posts

Just thought that I would post a request for the possible Lightroom competitor. It's a niche market but I do a lot of work with infrared images and neither Photoshop nor Lightroom can handle those images well because they cannot get the colour temperature down to the required value. Canon and Nikon's own software can do this as can Phase One's Capture one which I use. Might this feature be included in any future Lightroom equivalent?

I should mention that this could be a good idea if introduced in Affinity Photo as well.

Hello GKB,

In one of the FAQs topic, this is listed.

Do you plan to have Web site design/Digital Asset Management/animation/video editing products too?
We’re not sure yet! We will definitely get the first three products out the way over the next 12 months first before we start looking at other possibilities, but we are very interested in adding a DAM solution to the Affinity suite in future.

I would personally like the animation one, but it sounds like the crew is considering a Lightroom competitor with the DAM of interest to them. So thumbs up to that.

The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. Feel free to connect with me and let me know what you like or what can be improved. You can contact me here, on my contact page, YouTube channel, or Twitter account. Thanks and have a great day!
