Littletank
From time to time I need to use one or other of the applications in Macphun Creation Kit which, unfortunately, cannot be installed as a plug in in IP, like it can be in Photoshop. However, the applications in the kit can be installed and run as standalone applications. What would be the best way to move an image to and fro between Affinity Photo and, for example, the application Totality, please?
Staff Callum Posted September 27, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2017 Hi Littletank. The only way to move between the applications would be to Export the image from Affinity and then open that image in the application you would like to use Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Littletank
OK Callum, I understand that but would the application need to be running at the same time as AP and what extension would avoid any loss of information?
Staff Callum Posted September 27, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2017 Hi Littletank, The application wouldn't need to be running at the same time, to retain layers you could use SVG or EPS or PDF if your app supports it you could also use PSD C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Littletank
Thank you and I presume the reverse applies to get the image back into AP.
