Adri Bale
hi, loading native .NEF files (Nikon D7100) in Affinity a total different exposure and balance of colors is showed on video, darker and totally unreflective of the same image in View NX of Nikon. the same with "Develop Assistant" set out in "apply tone curve", also generating a different not correspondent result. in the same native .JPG files these differences are not evidenced. never in View NX any difference showed between native .NEF and .JPG files see attached examples _DSC9339.NEF & DSC9339.PG (should be renamed as .JPG). sorry ...not able to upload .JPG file: "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200" showed ...why? thanks for clarifying

Staff stokerg Posted October 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 5, 2017 Hi Adri and Welcome to the Forums, This will be down to the different raw engines and different tone curves being applied between the different apps. This is why we have the ability to adjust settings in develop persona, so we can fine tune the results. As for why you got the error trying to attach a JPG, i'm not 100% sure as JPG is a supported file attachment, it's possible there was an issue at the moment you attached the JPG.
